Introduction to Judaism
-
Judaism
101: Judaism 101 is an online encyclopedia of Judaism, covering Jewish
beliefs, people, places, things, language, scripture, holidays, practices and
customs. My goal is to make freely available a wide variety of basic, general
information about Judaism, written from a traditional perspective in plain
English. This web site is constantly growing, with new information added every
few weeks.
- Shamash
- This is collection of links to Internet resources on
Jewish topics.

The
Dead Sea Scrolls
- This information is found at the Smithsonian Institute,
and it contains texts and pictures. If you want to see the pictures, you must
be at a computer with Netscape installed (either your own with a modem or one
of the campus computers).
- The Lost
Tribes of Israel
- This is a PBS Nova website describing some fascinating
genetic evidence concerning, among other things, the continuity of the Jewish
priestly lineage, the common ancestry of Jews and Arabs, and a South African
tribe that believes it is descended from Jews.
